I run the production environment for the engraving company website on a Linux server. The setup includes Nginx reverse proxying, HTTPS, PHP service management, upload handling, admin access and log-based troubleshooting.
Linux administration for my projects and production websites
I run and administer the Linux server behind this portfolio, connected project backends and the company websites gravyrochlaser.se and gravyrhandeln.se. The work covers server setup, Nginx, HTTPS, databases, deployments, logs, backups and keeping the services online.
I administer the server environment behind the web shop, including the Node/Vite application, Stripe-related services, order handling, admin tooling, process restarts and production monitoring.
The production work behind the websites
Linux server operation
I maintain the server environment that runs the portfolio, project backends, databases and company websites.
Service administration
Backends and web apps are managed as services with restart behavior, logs and checks so they continue working after server restarts.
Networking and HTTPS
Nginx, DNS, HTTPS/TLS and reverse proxy configuration connect the public domains to the correct internal services.
Databases and storage
PostgreSQL databases, uploaded files, logs and backups are part of the production setup I operate and troubleshoot.
From domain to running service
The public websites are only the visible part. Behind them I manage the Linux host, route traffic through Nginx, run apps and backends as services, connect databases and keep track of logs when something needs to be fixed.
This includes the portfolio projects, the AI shopping backend, the chatbot/admin API, PostgreSQL-backed services and the production environments for the two engraving business sites.
Keeping the services usable in production
Service management
Applications and backends are run as managed services, with restart behavior and logs that make production issues easier to trace.
Secure access and HTTPS
The setup uses HTTPS/TLS, SSH-based administration, reverse proxies and separated internal services exposed through controlled public routes.
Monitoring and logs
Server stats, service status, logs and request traces are used to understand load, spot errors and fix problems quickly.
Databases and backups
Database-backed apps, uploaded assets and service data are part of the infrastructure I maintain and protect with practical backup routines.
